8/8/2008 Patrick Provides Narration on DVD Bound for Mars

The Phoenix Mars Lander was recently launched into space bound for Mars north polar region where it will dig in soil and ice searching for past habitability. Onboard the Phoenix is a DVD made of silica glass designed to last thousands of years into the future. This special DVD, Visions of Mars, carries personal messages from visionaries of our own time to future visitors or settlers on Mars. Patrick introduces and narrates the classic radio shows portion of the DVD. Phoenix is due to land on Mars next spring.
